Gratitude Journal is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects (if any), how it is used, whether it is shared, and how it is stored and protected. If the app does not collect personal data, this policy explicitly states that as well.
The Gratitude Journal app stores user-provided content locally on your device (for example, entries you write about things you are grateful for). It uses local storage (SharedPreferences and local files) to save preferences, streaks, and entries.
The app does not automatically collect personal data such as your name, email, contacts, or location unless you explicitly provide such information in the app's profile screens. If you choose to provide personal information, that data is stored locally and is not transmitted to third-party servers by the app.
Data saved by the app is used to provide the app's core functionality: saving and viewing your gratitude entries, tracking streaks, and preserving preferences across launches.
We do not share your personal or usage data with third parties. The app does not automatically upload your entries to external services.
All user-generated content is stored on your device. We recommend keeping regular backups of your device. The app uses the standard storage mechanisms provided by the operating system. While we take reasonable steps to protect data on the device, no method of storage is 100% secure.
